Relationships Change Lives.
Young Life doesn’t start with a program. It starts with adults concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don’t happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust, and consistency.
Our adult volunteer leaders spend hours of their free time investing in the lives of kids. Whether it is going to their sporting events, taking them to coffee, or playing video games together, these leaders generously give so much of their time and resources because they believe every kid deserves to know that they matter. Lives are changed when kids understand that they are loved by God and loved by an adult who believes in them.

Reaching Our Community One Kid At A Time
21,000
There are over 21,000 teenagers in East Portland, & many of them have never heard the truth. College-aged kids, high schoolers, middle schoolers, teens with disabilities, teen parents youth experience homelessness, trafficking, foster care, and incarceration.
They ALL deserve to hear the truth that they were created with a purpose. That they are not a mistake. That their life does matter. That they are not alone.
